Memorable trip

1/ Friendly and helpful staff. They always smile and welcome. 2/ Breakfast is buffet. A lot of food and varieties. The best time to have breakfast is from 06:00-06:30. There is a queue and no seats after 06:40. You should wait for a while. 3/ We visited Mini Amsterdam in Cebu. Very beautiful flowers and a small monuments garden on the top of the mountain. it exceeded my expectations. It was more beautiful and very enjoyable than the original famous Koklan garden in Amsterdam. 4/ We visited the Temple of Leon /Taj Mahal in Cebu/ on the way to Mini Amsterdam. it also exceeded my expectations. we saw Cebu city from the top of the mountain and visited the temple which was constructed by the richest man of Cebu for his late wife. 5/ The resort Solea has many pools.

One day we could not sleep all night. Because our new neighbors /local guests/ with his friends played cards, laughed, sang, giggled, and shouted all night. It was very noisy.

Very Good

We have a 4yo and an 8yo. This was perfect for them with all the activities available to kids. Resto food had good size servings so we could share. We initially ordered too much first day so they allowed us to come back for dinner and they reheated the leftovers. Lol! Staff was great calls/ requests to front desk were actioned quickly. Check in/ check out process easy.

Some renovation ongoing to improve accomodations. Rooms had no closet in our wing. All I could remember really.

A relaxing place to holiday.

Everything about this place is great. Starting from the staff, the service, the location, the amenities and ambience. The staff are accommodating, courteous and helpful. They always say hello and greet you around the place. I suppose they are trained to do that. The service is superb. The location is beach front and has an amazing view of the ocean. The amenities are enjoyable to experience as there are a lot of water activities to do. The restaurant offers great menu and has a wide variety of choices and the price is pretty reasonable. The portions of the food serving are generous that we were not even able to consume what we ordered. The bar is great if you want to have a drink and wind down near the pool. Overall it was a great stay.

Our room was 750 and was right below the rooftop bar. At 11 p.m., when we tried to get some sleep, the staff working on the rooftop were dragging the chairs and tables around. Whether they were arranging/cleaning those furniture for the following day, they should try to observe and limit the noise if possible because it was just too loud that it kept us awakened. Then, at 2 AM, it happened again. Chairs and tables were dragged or arranged again. It was irritating as we were trying to get some sleep, and we got awakened by those noises. It was a bit busy when we were there as there were a lot of guests that checked in. But it was okay. The place is a bit far from the airport, it will take about 30 minutes to get there depending on the traffic condition.

The bathroom is flooding. The shower is broken. The toilet flush is broken.

It would be much appreciated if in case the housekeeping staffs can't tidy up the room... emptying/changing the garbage bin at least could do...

We enjoyed so much! Specially our kids. The best New Year we have. We love the New Years Eve Gala Dinner Countdown. Fireworks - super wonderful and beautiful. Total = Excellent.

No beach to be at, only pools. The location was really bad, the area outside the hotel was only slum.

Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. You can also use the hotel facilities next door.

The food in the restaurants could have been better. It took a long time for the food to arrive and was a disappointing. You had to ask for cold beer otherwise it was warm! Good hotel for a short stay!

1.room cleaning should be improved. - Room 407 not cleaned on Friday July 14. - Room 405 cleaned but not refiled the toilet paper. Trash can had not been cleared. 2.it would be more convenient for us if 2 key cards provided. 3. the swimming pool attendant should stop those guest who wore non-swimming suits entering the swimming pool. Also,slippers or shoes should be forbidden while swimming. 4. no beach 5. the air conditon of the restaurant is not comfortable for guest 6. after the heavy storm, the water in the corridor not cleared properly. 7. only 1 lady + 1 gentleman toilet in the public area (Ground Floor) was available. The wash rooms near the swimming pool were under construction so not able to use.

The pool was excellent. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

You must travel through a slum to reach the hotel and we were warned not to walk outside of the hotel at night. The food was below average in quality. They receive many (5-6 tanker trucks) of water per day as the hotel needs to supplement their water supply. Each fill is a noisy 15 minutes experience - and one was at 2:15AM.

The property is under renovation and lagoons, resturant and everything is unavailable. All the amenities are provided in Solea hotel which is just beside it. That hotel is listed at half the price of this property in this site. Felt cheated thoroughly.
